I planted a Pumpkin and grew a Thief

Once upon a time I planted a pumpkin seed; it was the most beautiful seed in the world. I watched the seed grow into a pumpkin; it slowly turned orange and began to become very big. I couldn’t wait for it to be picked. I had never felt so much pride this was not just a seed, but something I had planted with my girlfriend and her mother.

This one act became a symbol for me being accepted as part of the family. Then one day it was all gone, somebody had ripped it off. This is the place were the fairy tale ends and my rage starts.

My mind is oozing in overtime. WHY???? Would someone steal a pumpkin, and it was not just a one time thing. They did it at least two times, the second time stealing pumpkins that weren’t even close to being ripe. I know it’s just a pumpkin, but actually it’s not.

The pumpkin meant so too much to me, and when it was stolen it not only hurt me, but made my girlfriend breakdown in tears. I don’t wish whoever did it any harm, well maybe not too much, but I wouldn’t mind if when they bit into the pumpkin it was infested by killer, flesh eating bugs!!!! Just kidding…or am I?
